Norman Seeff "After Playing Possum"
Los Angles, CA
"Carly arrived at my studio in a casual cotton skirt and blouse. I asked her what she had on underneath. She stripped down to a black 'teddy' and began dancing around the studio to the soundtrack of SHAFT. The image I used on the cover of PLAYING POSSUM was considered to be one of the sexiest ever to be on an album. Carly was actually in the process of a series of yoga exercises! She later commented 'Looking at myself I thought - my god, I had a baby 4 months ago. That shot doesn't go along exactly with the image of new motherhood but I liked it!'" Norman Seeff
